In order to quantify the degree of correlation between Dementia and
Covid-19, three different meta-analyses were carried out, showing for each
of them a forest plot that summarises the results, calculating the average
effect size value with its confidence interval.
The analysis was focused on three different aspects:
Mortality of dementia comorbidities in patients with COVID-19,
Incidence of dementia comorbidities in patients with COVID-19,
Changes in cognitive functioning after COVID-19 (MoCA*).
*The Montreal Cognitive Assessment (MoCA) is a 30-questions test that helps assess people for Dementia.
